| How Automatic Quoting Works |
| Wavepilot makes quoting convenient so you can automatically quote new RFQs and you don't have to keep coming back to re-quote if another FBO places a lower quote. |
|
Wavepilot can automatically submit an initial quote on your behalf, even when you're away from a computer. That way you can be the first to submit a quote and get the immediate attention of the aircraft operator. Later when it's convenient, you can login to review the RFQ and update your quote. Other FBOs will never know a quote came from you; only the aircraft operator knows your identity. Wavepilot bases your initial auto-quote upon the volume of fuel requested by the aircraft operator and your FBO's current retail price minus your volume discount. |
|
EXAMPLE | |
| Your current retail price: $6.00 | Aircraft's requested uplift: 1200 gallons |
|
Your volume discounts: | |
|
Gallons |
Discount off retail |
| 0 to 500 | $0.00 |
| 501 to 1000 | $0.10 |
| 1001 to 2000 | $0.20 |
| 2001 to 9999 | $0.30 |
| Wavepilot will automatically submit an initial quote on your behalf for $5.80 (1200 gallons qualifies for a $0.20 discount off your $6.00 retail price). We'll then notify you of your initial quote so you can login and modify it later. |
|
To enable initial auto-quoting, enter your fuel volume discounts on your account profile page. From the menu bar, go to "My Account / Edit Account Details." Keep your retail price updated on Wavepilot. You can enter price updates manually on your "My Account / Edit Account Details" page, but for greater convenience we suggest you use Acufuel.com to automatically update your pricing to dozens of different fuel programs and websites in a single step. It's free and it's easy. Go to www.acufuel.com to register and be sure to select "Wavepilot" when asked what fuel programs and websites you want to automatically update. |
|
Incremental Auto-Quotes When you respond to an RFQ, enter the MINIMUM price you're willing to charge per gallon. The aircraft operator and other FBOs will not know your minimum price. Wavepilot automatically places your quote just low enough to become the current lowest quote. We place quotes on your behalf in increments of $0.05. We'll quote only as low as necessary to make sure you remain the lowest, or down to your minimum price. Your quote could win the operator's business for more than your minimum price. If another FBO places the same minimum price or lower, we'll notify you so you can place another quote. |
If you're the first FBO to post a quote for an RFQ, enter the fuel price you're willing to charge the aircraft operator. Your quote will be the first and become the current lowest quote. |
