Wavepilot for Aircraft Operators

Save Time and Money, Lose the Stress

No more hassles and headaches phoning FBOs to shop for fuel with little certainty you're getting the best prices. Instead, Wavepilot invites FBOs to compete online for your business. Think of eBay - except Wavepilot is a reverse auction where sellers compete for your business by bidding prices downward.

Wavepilot RFQs (Request for Quotes) are the key to saving you time and money. Any aircraft operator, large or small, can post RFQs on Wavepilot.

How it Works - In a Nutshell

View sample RFQ

  1. An aircraft operator posts an RFQ on Wavepilot.
  2. Automatically, every FBO at the destination airport receives the RFQ.
  3. FBOs respond by submitting competitive quotes for their fuel and services.

Increased Competition Means Lower Costs

You just sit back and review the quotes as they come in.  You can also send private messages to FBOs requesting special services and discounts. When the RFQ ends, you simply compare the quotes and select an FBO with confidence you've received the most competitive pricing. Wavepilot automatically sends trip sheets to you and the winning FBO confirming your arrival information, your fuel and service requests, and the agreed upon terms.

Already have a good contract fuel price? Many FBOs will gladly beat it!

If you have a valid contract fuel price at your destination, Wavepilot lets you post it on your RFQ so the FBOs know the price they have to beat. Many FBOs will jump at the opportunity to sell you fuel directly so you can both save money. (Important: Be prepared to provide proof of your valid contract fuel price to the awarded FBO.)

Maintain Your Privacy and Security

All RFQs are submitted anonymously to FBOs. Wavepilot never reveals your identity. An FBO learns your identity only when you award it an RFQ or if you contact the FBO directly yourself.
